In Malay, rasa, primarily means "taste" "flavor" or "feeling". It is a versatile word used to describe the taste of food, physical sensations, as well as to express opinions or emotions, similar to "think" or "feel" in English.

RASA is an Australian dance arts team created by Nadiah Biddle & Ian de Mello, creating events, performances and workshops grounded in connection, self expression and belonging. It all began with a desire to feel at home in our own bodies.

Our mission is to present work that supports honest expression, storytelling and culture. Keeping alive the truth that art is a practice and lifestyle that gives people the opportunity to share who they are, past, present and future.
